Alejandro Escovedo and Jon Dee Graham (his guitarist/opening act) are playing Sept. 29th at Irving Plaza in NYC. I had a great time at the show, and the girl i was with dug it too. The opener just played a solo acoustic set, then when Alejandro came on they had a 7 piece band, with a cellist and a violin player. The songs were good and the musicianship was very impressive. For their encores they played "Sway" by the Stones and "All the Young Dudes", it was pretty cool.

You are a genius. I love you. (Except for the cleavage cover up, that's not so good)

it shouldnt be too expensive with an unlocked phone to just pick up a pay-as-you-go phone card in london, or anywhere in europe for that matter. anywhere in the world actually. the US is quite behind in terms of mobile phone tech.
the trick of course is getting the phone unlocked.
In London you can get a phone unlocked everywhere. I couldn't believe it when I was in Chicago, none of the stors had my mobile. It does seem to be behind Europe with that kind of thing. You need a tri-band phone and thats all.
You can buy sim cards everywhere here and in Europe. Thats the best and cheapest way of doing things. Renting a phone will cost the earth.

Dude, she's good - check out this video (http://www.adventuresofmike.net/MVI_1159.AVI) I took with my digital camera... (I'll leave it up for 24 hours)
Oh, I never doubted that, Mate.
It was all TIC but what I was referring is that you keep going back even though you've already admitted its not good for you.
Anyway, not being judgemental or anything. Just having a little fun at your expense.
