Alright, I just got off the phone with Sprint PCS and I have had it with these idiots.

I need to look for a new carrier with nationwide calling. Any suggestions?
I know I'm getting in a bit late, but, if you're planning on travelling outside of the States, see if you can get a phone that can be used around the world (I forget the exact terminology) and a SIM card. Best Buy was selling Cingular ones, so that might work out. I have one for Taiwan and it's really good, as I can use it in Asia, the States and Europe. It also saves you the hassle of having to rent a phone over in London.

Just ordered my kit from Subside and discovered something cool. I was having problems ordering the patches for the shirt (it wouldn't add it in when I was customizing it), so I went looking through the FAQs and found a whole section of just old patches. They have all of the EPL Champions patches from the last few years, so I ordered my kit with "2003-2004 Champions" patches. :D

it shouldnt be too expensive with an unlocked phone to just pick up a pay-as-you-go phone card in london, or anywhere in europe for that matter. anywhere in the world actually. the US is quite behind in terms of mobile phone tech.

the trick of course is getting the phone unlocked.

hmmm. i have cingular, and there is a store down the street from where i live. I'll have to check it out. It would be nice to have a phone when I am in London in January because I'm planning on meeting my cousin there, if she can fly up from Spain. plus I want to be able to track Rick around!! :p

i bought an english sim, on the pay as you go plan. It was a pretty good deal. Theres also a bunch of stores on Oxford street that will unlock your GSM phone.

I went to see Alejandro Escovedo last night at the Casbah. I'd never listened to him before, but my brother is a big fan so i figured i'd check it out. It was a really great show, alot more rocking than i thought it was gonna be. If he heads to your town check it out.
