I heard and read on two different sources that Ramirez (pando) is out as soon as friday. His future replacement would be the Argentine Dario Hussein that is currently negotiating with L.A.. What do you think?

WEll, the Dashiel link suggests Naldont and Chinchilla could be leaving. It hints that the Argentinian could play left midfield and Pando could slide into the middle.

Now THAT'S what I';m talkin bout! :)

However, that means Ugo is going to be our man in the middle, and I don't know how that will pan out in the playoffs. We can't afford to give up any easy goals.

I say we use Umana there not Ugo. he like seeing goals but is too far from the opposing teams net. Thus a penalty a game.

Umana of the penalty, own goal and fiasco in Columbus... I don't know.

So the plan is to play Vagenas, Nagamura, Pando and Saragosa in the middle?? Please, please, please may it not turn into a 3-6-1 with Landon up top.

By the way, does anyone know what the contract situation is with the Central Americans. People keep talking as if we own Pando outright but I seem to recall from the start of the season that these were all loan deals, Pando from Municipal, Chinchilla from Alajualense and Umana from I don't know where. It seems like this should be written down somewhere.

Also, during the DC game our announcers referred to Nagamura as being on loan from Sao Paulo. I thought he was a free transfer from Arsenal.

It would be very bad if we had to give Nagamura back.

Two difficult tasks:
1. Prevent Pando from shooting wild.
2. Prevent Ugo from giving away PK's.

I read the article and it doesn't make mention of getting rid of Pando. If it was true, it will solve #1.

I would say the plan is to place Vagenas at left out, as in put his underachieving, nonperforming self next to Memo Gonzalez on the bench. A three man center mid of Pando, Nagamura and Saragosa will be awesome. A 3-5-2 is in order.

"It appears that Ednaldo da Conceicao and Pablo Chinchilla could be released. Guillermo "El Pando" Ramirez is another option but few expect Coach Steve Sampson to give up so easily on his biggest pickup in the offseason."

What about that for a mention? The writer is of course speculating on the intelligence of our fearless leader, SS2.

That's cool that we'd get to perhaps see Pando play where he is supposed to be.

So Pando is not officially "out"?

Then we should change the title to "Is Pando Out?"

See the question mark? That means we're not sure if he's OUT or if he's IN.

thread title corrected.
