I'd really like to know if he's a resident of RFK. Chasing away all the rats and mice that are sure to have been living in Aramark's food storage areas.

Yes, I've seen that cat and many others around there before when I've been down in the tunnels. I can't believe it got onto the field! That's just priceless. Pretty kitty though......

my daughter wanted me to catch that darn cat...I told her what am I going to do with this cat for like 2 hours? he is very pretty though.

DCU should keep kitty as a mascot, just paint some red and white stripes to go with black :D

At least it was a cat, RFK and DCU would have died of embarrassment if it was a big old huge rat on the field.

She missed wide right though!
I've heard from DCU people that there are dozens of wild cats that live at RFK, and one reason they have no problem with it is exemplified perfectly by this thread and your post. Everyone thinks that a cat running across the field is cute. If a rat went streaking across, it'd be a huge mess.
The cats take care of the rats and they don't have to worry about it.

It's true - they're walking around everywhere. At first I remembered thinking that it was cute that someone had brought their pet to work at the stadium...then I kept seeing cats all around.

Funniest thing is when they showed the cat on CSN my cat (who was sitting next to me enjoying the game, he actually moves his head as the ball moves) rocketed up and was nervous for the next 5 minutes, of course me yelling at Whinovan didn't help.
