I didn't see Nana Kuffour on the subs bench. He must have recovered from his heat exhaustion because he played in our last reserve match. Is he injured? He might have been useful tonight. (Maybe LA would think he was Freddie and would start getting the shakes).

I don't know.. but even when he is on the bench, Nowak doesn't use him....

Novak probably believes he's got one lead-touch forward/sub to keep on the bench. It appears that Jamil has won that honor.

I believe I saw him in the warm-ups.
Watching the warm-up shots on goal I saw Walker hitting weak balls directly to the keeper or off frame.
Nana hit one directly to the keeper, but it somehow ended up in the back of the net. He must have the hardest shot on the team.

Don't underestimate the impact having a severe case of heat exhaustion can have on you physically - if it was so bad it became a case of heat stroke (even a mild one) he could be damaged permanently. I know someone who got a bad case of heat stroke and they were AFU for a long, long, time. I hope that's not the case with Nana.

The heat exhaustion issue is a moot one at this point - that was weeks ago and he has played when he was needed in the recent "reserve" game. I saw Kuffour play the full 90 minutes in that Harrisburg game last week as the attacking midfielder but he somewhat lacks the playmaking skills to give his forwards decent service. He got a yellow for a reckless tackle and tried a bicycle kick from about 20 yards which was on net but without the necessary power to score. He seems likely to only get 1st team minutes as a forward this year but he has Walker and seemingly Nickell ahead of him right now on the depth chart.
