This is a pretty good article, lots of background. I think it's funny that the team's nickname for Brian is "demo"!
(and please don't be too hard on Zach's choice of player, he's actually only 11, and he's into the goal scoring thing!)

Nice background, particularly from a community paper.

I had to blink the other day when BC made a successful slide tackle! [I kid, I kid]
Demo has got leadership potential. I hope he keeps working hard and within himself 'cause he just might be a skipper some day.

The slide tackle thing made me laugh, 'cause I read it on the boards right before the game, and then he did it in the game, and I meant to go back and post "see, he does slide tackle" :D

Carol Carroll? Seriously!! I thought MY name was awkward:D
I've enjoyed watching BC improve over the past couple of years. He's a stable player and gets the job done. Who doesn't have the occasional rough game? At least they're few and far betweeen!

I have to say that I was very impressed w/ BC when he was interviewed after his first goal. He was modest, serious, very professional, and very well spoken. Nice to see from a young player.

But then again, Brian has the same offensive stats this month as the balding one. 1 goal, 1 assist. :D

You'd think that the reporter would have caught his goof, but alas, he did not; her name is not Carol, it's Donna. We all got a good chuckle out of that one.

Impressed with Carroll the last few months. A rough start to the season, but he has come back around.

(and please don't be too hard on Zach's choice of player, he's actually only 11, and he's into the goal scoring thing!) That's ok, I guess, no one's favorite player is a defensive midfielder, that's the reason they call it an unheralded position :) But at 11, it's never good to like a balding man, it's just wrong :D
Damn good story for an 11-year-old. If he was >15, I'd break out my critic hammer hard, but damn good for that age. Steven Goff, watch your back ;)
So, you're the aunt? ;)

yeah, remember, he played outside right mid for them, so that's where Ray Hudson put him for United (and yes, he did play his first season, at the Soccerplex) even though we can all obviously see what position he plays best ......
