The Galaxy game will be my first game I ever watch at a stadium. My question is what do they sell at those little stores that people go to at half time? And is the food expensive?

Well the food sucks big hairy ones because of the chance you might be laid up in a hospital because of it. Its not as expensive as say anything that Dan Snyder owns, but it ain't cheap either.

They sell team merchandise like jerseys, t-shirts, scarves, hats, pins, bumper stickers, etc.
Do not eat the food. Let me repeat. DO NOT EAT THE FOOD.
But drink all the $6.50 beer you want.

Don't eat the food. Come to the Barra Tailgate. Eat beforehand.
At halftime, go to the drum circle, maybe get a beer, don't eat the food.
We've almost lost a fan this year!

The merchandaise stands they put up have just about everything you see on the DC United section of http://www.mlsgear.com
Jerseys, hats, posters, pennants, tshirts, scarfs, you name it.

Also, if you choose to get a jersey, they've got the equipment at the stand by the main entrance (I believe that's where it is) to apply the Name/Number of your choice to the back.

Say i wanted my name, would they be done with my jersey that night? or do they have to ship it out to me?

They are while you wait.
The stand that does them is actually a little room, between Gate B and section 135, on the concourse. It's on your left as you walk by.
That is the only one that does customized jerseys, the other stands on the concourse do not.
DO NOT EAT ARAMARK FOOD!!
Oh, and load water or gator. A 20 oz water is 4 dollars a bottle,
and they ran out at some stands on the sunny side at 1/2 time last game.
I will have plenty to eat (2 dozen hotdogs) and a case of water.
Stop by the green Subaru at the tailgate and say hello.

Do they sell player jerseys like Moreno and Adu or do you have to buy a plain one and customize it?

Do they sell player jerseys like Moreno and Adu or do you have to buy a plain one and customize it? They do indeed sell some player jerseys (especially Adu). It's supposed to be 95 degrees with high humidity tomorrow. The overnight low is to be 79 degrees from what i last read. so basically it will still be in the 80's by game time. LOAD UP ON WATER before the game. the stadium is sweltering.

Yeah they'd be done with it in about 2 minutes. The equipment they use to do it is basically a big flat Foreman Grill lookin' thing. Basically a fancy iron.
They can put on the Sierra Mist logos and MLS Season 10 patch if you want, too.

So I don't have to pay extra just to get a Sierra Mist patch, Moreno, and 99 on the back?

You do have to pay extra, it's like an additional $15 or something like that.

I should also note that alternatively they sell player tshirts for like $25 that I rather like. They're black or white shirts that have a player's name on the back with his number (Adu, Moreno, Eskandarian, Petke :o, and maybe Namoff are the ones I've seen) the Sierra Mist logo under the number and on the sleeve, and the DCU logo centered on the front.
They also have these in long sleeve (I've been meaning to get a long sleeve one...)

One more question. How much are the player jerseys?

Fully done up, with Sierra Mist and 10th Aniv, name and number, about a C-note.

Yeah I guess it is worth noting that it's much much cheaper to get this stuff online than buying at the stadium. Like a fully done up player jersey will cost you like $80 online through The Onion Bag.
However buying at the stadium has the advantage of instant gratification, which to many people is worth $20.
