Any ideas on signs for this game?

AEG?
Donovan?

I was thinking that since AEG likes to "spindoctor" their news to work in their favor, why don't we capitalize on the ESPN attention and make up lots of signs

All we are saying, is give us a home
AEG = Anti (San Jose) Earthquake Group

please submit ideas

I wanted to make a sign of Donovan's head on a chicken's body which says "Landon, Lay Another Egg" (you see, the chicken is because he cowardly ran away from Europe, and the egg is for the big zero goals he has scored against us so far), but I do not have sufficient artistic ability.

Perhaps we should make some signs in support of Steve Sampson -- the longer he keeps his job, the more LA sucks.

Is there going to be a sign making party before the game or anything ??? Also, hopefully people bring their signs from last game as well ...

" (Two stars) We've got two, how 'bout you?"
"Hartman: Another LA bottle blonde"
"Cute sashes, Gals"
"OWN GOAL"

I could go on and on...

How about a big cheer when we introduce Tyrone Marshall? That'll get 'em all screwed up.

And the other own-goaler!
Cheering for Umana won't be nearly as big a mind-bender as cheering Marshall, though.

By the way, I haven't yet decided if "he who shall not be named" will be given special lineup treatment to accommodate the wrath of the masses. Maybe we should treat him now like any other visiting infidel.

Thoughts?

'He who not be named' should get the special treatment out of respect. He did win two cups here. If he had gone to under better circumstances (to another place and at another time) he would be getting cheers. Imagine he went to NY after playing 12 years in europe, you'd have to leave time for the cheers. Give him the special teatment, he earned it

If the circumstances were different, he would be cheered like a conquering hero, as Agoos is, as Cannon is, as Mulrooney was.

However, we know the circumstances. He turned tail and ran. He used Germany to engineer an allocation to our chief rivals. He wanted to become one of them. He turned his back on us. I stand with (or would stand with) those who choose to turn their backs on him.

However, in the interest of balance, I'm willing to put that aside. We had our say the first time he came home. Now, I'm thinking we treat him no differently than we'd treat Serna (BOOOOOOOOOOOO) or Ruiz (BOOOOOOOOOOO) and make no special arrrangements for the crowd to have their say (ie: introducing him last, out of numerical order if it comes to that).

For purely personal reasons I'd like to see him get the special treatment. I had to miss the first LA game. (The only game I've missed all year :( )

With his exhaustion or CFS or whatever he has do you think he's even going to play? I mean the team will be here from the 23, maybe 24th. And he's playing in Spain on the 23rd. So he'd have to come straight to San Jose from Spain. And we all know why he can't do that.... :p

Just think...if the flights from SJC to LAX were too taxing for him, how is it going to be for him coming all the way from Spain? Too much, I'd better go home and rest (until my team comes back to LA to join me). Bianca! Beer me!

That's what I'm saying! :p

The team is supposedly staying here between games. From the last I heard.

How about "Euro Washout."

I think we should sing, "own goal, own goal" at Marshall all night long.
