I've got 5 on Rick. After all, he does have the home field advantage! :)

Sorry to hear about your gal, Rick. She should of stuck around at least through the season. Who can handle that kind of disruption at a time like this? If it's no better by this fall, then we will just do a thorough job of helping you drown your sorrows. I found a football grounds pub crawl that should certainly do the trick.

That makes me feel soooo much better...

Just remember that our greens are about a quarter of the size of yours!!! :D

Which is a problem seeing as how I can't hit the ones over here!!! :D

Plus, I'll be playing with rentals over there that are set up for a 5'6" guy (I'm 6'3")!!!

Cheers Ash, hit me quite hard to be fair. Hence when I get some finances in shape reckon I'll do a US trip by the end of the year. Ive done quite a bit of that drinking lark recently.....I might be able to keep up with...........ah jeez who am i kidding, I'll be gone. Oh the Football ground pub crawl, it's quite good except that you have to go all the way to WHL to use the toilet............. :D

Well... if you two are scoring anywhere near the 80s, I suppose I should not be golfing with you anytime soon.
My approach to golf.....of Cam gets to have 80 strokes worth of fun, surely I should have more fun taking 100 or so.

Well I didn't say I would be!!!! I don't know, golf in Jan is great here. Especially if it's icy, you can hit the ball so much further......... ;)

So, Rick. With your newfound single status maybe you and our old friend Mel B can hook up to be the Wedding Crashers UK.

"All the way to WHL to use the toilet..."

Good one!

Love golf but I've played barely 100 holes since 2000. D@$# parental responsibilities!!! Our family use to have a novelty tournament in upper NY state every summer, with trophies featuring the south end of a northbound horse! It was a lot of fun, with the one who drank the most on the course being far more lauded than the actual winner. Tough to beat playing a nice course on a beautiful day though. Perhaps when I'm ready for the senior circuit I'll have the time and wherewithall to get back to the 80's.

And while I've not attended the Master's I have had the pleasure of visiting Augusta National for a luncheon. Beautiful place but sadly the area around it has grown up into an Everytown USA commercial strip. IIRC, there's a walmart not too far from the front entrance of the club. How posh is that! ;)

Keep yer chin up Rick! If all else fails, pop "Wedding Singer" in your dvd player and throw on the scene where he sings "Love Stinks"
