The college football stadiums can be huge. The Michigan stadium holds 107,501!!!
Pfffffft.
I have not been there to a game in like 10 years that did not have an announced crowd of at least 110,000.
Edit: THE BIG HOUSE!!! http://www.leeandkristin.net/AnnArbor/FBPhotos/Game3.jpg
and please dear God don't let any of those Columbus Gooners find this thread. I don't think I can handle their crap today.

LOL, next you'll be telling me that there's still a large KKK presence to be found!! :D
Im looking at 10 days or so in total, around 27th November to 5th or 6th December depending on Thursdays draw when the game is for Champions League.

Did you see the pic I posted with the oblique view of the OB? That is just on the edge of the student section, and that is where you can see some of the most beautiful sights in the world!!! ;)

I've been to Seattle...seen the stadium and it is nice. However, your "list" is just a bit outdated. Keep holding on to the past, Deep. keep on holdin....:D

true story... I currently live about 10-12 miles away from the Mason Dixon Line and 16 miles away from the town of Rising Sun, which is/was a hub of the KKK.
EDIT: in case you are wondering why you'd care... I'm black, and live close to my alma mater which is an HBCU and there are still places today where the following situation can and actually happens (happened to me and some friends freshman year).
A bunch of us get out of our car and head towards the Wawa (like a Seven Eleven/convience store) and a family walking behind us kinda stops and looks on in what must have been shock and horror.
Everyone's quiet and we realize we might not have chosen the best place to stop when a little girl of about 7 points to us and says... "Mommie mommie look black people!"

Ok, Doug. I know you are an Illini fan but can you tell me how exactly it is over rated?
I know bigger isn't always better and I don't claim it to be the best but overrated? Using what as a measuring stick? That thing in the middle of a cow pasture in Champaign?

that's exactly how most of us felt at the time... but thankfully we've been exposed to some much more rounded and accepting people since then and its become something we can look back on and laugh at.

Serious? You see Ive just never been to a place like that. Ive had kids running up to me in Northern Zambia because they had never seen a white person before, so thats similar but it was said in a curious way, nothing else.
It sounds stupid probably to you guy's, but thats one reason I would like to travel to the Southern States of America, to see if all the stuff Ive read in history books and seen on TV has any truth in it. Probably sounds stupid to you.

These stadiums and fans are what make college ball so much more exciting than pro! I have been to plenty of pro games, had season tickets to the Fins, but there is nothing like Kyle Field and feeling the whole stadium actually sway during the Aggie War Hymn!
Ah, the Fightin Aggie Band! Can't wait for the season to start!
