zidane is quite clearly still a very very good player, but I'm not sure how well he 'fits' with Henry. Watching the game against the Ivory coast, Zindane seemed to slow the game down on several occasions, when Henry and Wiltord were both making runs, checking back, and then pinging a 50 yard pass across the pitch. Yes they were lovely passes, but by then, the move had kinda broken down. To add relevance to the Chelsea board, Henry was full of praise for Makele, who looked very good.

I have yet to see Henry play well with Zidane, and this is going back to January '98. I've seen Titi set up Zidane, but never the other way around.
