Hello. Just getting back into following soccer after... 25 years. I used to go to Detroit Express games as a kid, played as a kid, passingly glanced over my shoulder at the WCs, noticed about 5 years ago that MLS existed, listened to a guy at work talk about Italian soccer (or Calcio, as he insists on calling it).
Last week I decided to go ahead and watch some EPL on FSC. Then I caught the FC Dallas/New England Revolution game. What do you know? It wasn't boring! It was really good!
So, basically, I'm at the point now where I'm ready to give soccer a solid look - after 25 years. I'm hoping to get more out of the experience by actually discussing it and listening to others - kinda like what happens with other sports.
So, anyway, hello.
