At least that is what Babel Fish tells me. Gleaned from Kicker, we will play a friendly aganst the Germans in Dortmund on March 22nd.

I think I'll go to this one. Of course, we should probably wait 'til the WC groups are drawn before making travel plans as I think it will get cancelled if we are drawn together.

The date had been set I think but not the location. Or maybe it was the other way around?

We didn't cancel the US - S. Korea friendly even though we ended up in their group. ...or am I getting old and feeble and it was a Gold Cup game that happened after the groups were drawn?

Gold Cup I believe.
Trust me, Germany will not play a team from its group in a friendly a few months before the Cup. In fact, I believe they put off a friendly with Holland because of this when the last Euro groups were announced.

We played them twice, once in the Gold Cup, and then in Korea.
