In an Interview with reporters Sven was asked when Rooney will be called up to the Senior squad his replie was "Too young Lets get him into the U-21 squad before we go anywhere else." Now I wonder where that came from Sven or Everton?

Thinking about it,

Everton have some great young players coming through.

Hibbert, Clarke, Rooney, Chadwick, and McLeod are the main five. Three are current England U-21 internationals.

First thing Moyes said when he came to Everton was that "YOUTH" is the most important thing for the future of Everton football Club.

Walter Smith on the other hand sold every good player we had under the age of 23 and bought a bunch of old pensioners.

Does it look like Clarke will have much playing time with the Everton first team this season, or perhaps another loan is in the works?

Just been reading on www.evertonfc.com that FIVE of the Premierships TOP TEN youngest goalscorers were Everton players.

The list includes

Wayne Rooney
Michael Branch (sold by Smith)
Michael Ball (sold by Smith)
Francis Jeffers (sold by Smith)
Danny Cadamarteri (didn't get played enough by Smith, so punched a girl in the street and eventually got sold by Smith)

I think Clarke will get playing time this season in the first team. He's too good to go on loan now.

Chadwick also scored another goal again this weekend for the reserve side. Up front we look good.
