Never been, but I believe Mad Dog in the Fog is what you're looking for.

here are some listings in the Bay Area (http://www.thecasbah.org/pubguide.html)

Kezar's Pub and The Mad Dog in the Fog are the places you're referring to. There are actually many places in the Bay Area to watch games.

Sometimes it depends what you are looking for...for English Premier League and other big games, Mad Dog in the Fog is certainly the Place, at Haight and Fillmore..For USNT games, the Kezar Pub (On Stanyan and Haight) seemed to be the place to be, atleast leading up to the WC, but since I was in Korea during the WC and their hasn't been any full internationals to speak of since, I am not sure if this is still the hangout. Let me know if you find out!

Steps of Rome on Columbus also shows Serie A and all Italian nat. matches, I think.

... and there are additional bars you can try at SoccerBars.com (http://www.soccerbars.com)

I visit SF often on business and found Mad Dog in the Fog to be great for match watching. In addition, right across the street is a great beer joint (Tornados?).

Also, in the Mission district near Moscone Center (where I always find myself) there is a little Irish pub (on Fourth I think) called the Chieftain(?) that I've been able to catch games in. Sorry I don't know the exact details, but I just know how to find it walking from Moscone.
