--Tommy Smythe will be on The Hot List on ESPN News sometime between 3 and 6 p.m. (I'll post more specific time when they announce it). His interviews are usually wide-ranging, but I;m sure the game will be the big topic.
--ESPN News will have a "Post-game extra" after tonight's game. Probably just a shirt recap from the guys in the booth, just like they did for the Mexico match.
--SUM, ABC and ESPN are supposed to announce World Cup broadcast plans today.

So we can expect more general vagaries about the USMNT?

Did anybody see Tommy Smyth on ESPN last night? He posited that the U.S. might have a bit more trouble in Germany (vs J/K) because the USMNT was less technically proficient than before.

All I know is that the game will be talked about on national TV. I don't quibbleas much on whatthey say.

Yeah, Smyth will probably talk about Round 1 in the EPL as well as tonight's qualifier.

When is the press conference to announce the World Cup schedule.

I would anticipate something similar to 1998.

George Vescey will be on ESPn News shortly to talk about the MNT.

No clue on the broadcast announcement. You would think they would do it during Hot List when they are already talking soccer.
