I wouldn't be shocked if he's not avaiable for the next 2 games. Pity...
Awww dagnabbit!!!! He's the guy that puts the glitter into our play, he's the entertainer! Without him the team is somewhat bland.

Lack of stepovers does not generate blandness. There was nothing bland about the play leading to Ruud's goal against Everton. Pure class.

Nah...MAchester is kind of Boring without Ronaldo. They still win, but its not as much fun to watch. I think he will play...Scolari is weird and is trying to use new players for the Friendly

In fact, Park could be invaluable as a sub for Ronaldo, in those weeks or months where Ronaldo is playing a lot for Portugal. Park's speed and pace will allow us to keep up the pressure on wing.
not only that, but when we are up by only a slim margin, or perhaps wanting to switch to a more attacking formation, w/ 2 up front and 2 wingers... Park and Giggs on the wings do more work than Ronaldo and would allow us to play Ruud and Rooney up top when pressing for a goal, and Park's work rate and desire would help us defend slender leads better than Ronaldo, so he's really a very good fit. Add that he's capable on both wings and even at support striker in a pinch, Park was a nice addition.

******** off man, ManU was never boring even before Ronaldo came over, are you just one of those people fascinated by fancy circus tricks? Park was just as entertaining to watch against Everton if you ask me.

whoa sirmanchester...slow down.
The thing about Villa is that they pride themselves on not playing route 1 football meaning...they will try and play football against us. They've done it in the past and it has been to their demise. This match should be no different...there will be plenty of opportunities for United to score. I have no worries...they could not stop a route 1 team like Bolton...how can they stop mercurial play from a team like United? I mean really...Villa knew what was coming at them and they still defended poorly. I won't be surprised if this ended a 4-0 scoreline. However...if we defend poor or at least to the standard of the last match...there could be some problems. One thing we do know is that Villa can score goals.

That was not necessary at all, may I suggest you lay off the crack? He's talking about recent seasons. Obviously Manchester weren't boring with Beckham, Giggs, Scholes, Keane etc all in their prime, but now, without Ronaldo, you do notice a blaringly obvious difference. Park is a livewire, but he's no Ronaldo when it comes to entertainment value and anyone can see that.

I strongly disagree. Boring? Wayne Rooney, RVN, Rio, Heinze....boring?
Lets take a look at the "big picture", shall we?
WE HAVE ONE OF THE STRONGEST SQUADS IN THE WORLD. BEAUTIFUL, STUNNING FOOTBALL.

bollocks... im as much of a C-Ron fan as anyone else, but there are other entertaining players... Rooney for one, with his ability to leave defenders in his wake, his long shooting and his passing is a joy to watch.
Scholes will make at least one pass that maybe only 2-3 other players playing in England can make every game, and make it look easy.
Ruud's 1st touch has been iffy thus far, yet still every now and then he'll control a ball with such skill that you have to watch it twice to believe it actually happened.
Park - he's really something else, I enjoy watching him because its clear that he's got a good footballing brain... he makes the right runs, recognizes other players in good positions and makes good use of it, he links up well with others and its really fun to see him in action.
We don't have another player who will run at defenders quite as often as Ronaldo, save maybe Giggs and we don't have anyone who has better or even equal footwork, but Ronaldo is not the only entertainer on the team, not by a long shot.

When will some people ever learn to read posts properly? I never said we were boring...I was pointing out that you see a difference without Ronaldo, what? You people take me for a fool? Don't you think I dont know how Rooney, Scholes, Ruud, Giggs, Park and all these people can entertain?
What I did say was of course we were not boring before Ronaldo came to this club, we had our all conquering team in tact and they never played boring football, but when Ronaldo came and settled here, we began to rely on him, and whenever he was gone we could see the difference, and up to this day we see a difference, no not boring difference, but you do see a difference.
Suggestions that Park can take over from him is not true, Ronaldo is a unique player and that's what makes him entertaining to watch, you cannot replace him, so dont come at me with all this: "Bollocks! You talk crap! What are you talking about we're not boring!"

Well all this meaningless bollocks can go in the garbage as long as we get the results we need and win everything, that is what is important.

stop being silly... you mentioned that Ronaldo was entertaining, but without him the difference is blarringly obvious... hmmm... so lets look at opposites of entertaining... borring comes to mind, if we are blarringly "less entertaining" without Ronaldo then I must be blind because I could have sworn we have other players who are entertaining just by themselves and that our team plays enterprising flowing football, which allows a player like Darren Fletcher to be entertain.

I certainly don't think theres a huge difference when United play without Ronaldo, its not like the team is structured around him, then, only then can you clearly say there's a difference. All we really get when Ronaldo comes on is pace, countless step overs, and poor finishing(it has imporved but we all know its not there yet) Let's face it, some people are just dazzled by fancy foot work in football, which Ronaldo possesses, whereas others aren't. The fact that one brought up the notion of the team being boring without those tricks is rather silly and somewhat disrespectfull. I know everyone has their different opinions and I apologize if my previous post was to direct, but nontheless I strongly stand by what I said.
Thanks to Johno and the others who stood by what I said.

Well buddy, it's blaringly obvious to me. Yes we all know Rooney can take on half a team and score sensational goals, yes we know Park makes intelligent runs, great passes and uses neat tricks to get past defenders, yes we know about Scholes and his range of passing, I am aware of all of that, but that's how I feel. And I just hate it when people try to nail me to a stake and burn me along with my bible because of my opinion.
So you going on about this: "Well urrrrm lets take a look urrrrrm well the opposite of enternaining is urrrrrrm well boring eerrrrm so you're still saying we're boring errrrrm so you're still wrong errrrm so I win errrrm" doesn't really help anything.
