Hey, my first post on Big Soccer. I was just wondering if there was any sort of organized watch party in Houston for the USA game tomorrow night. If not, does anyone know a good bar to watch the game - preferably inside the loop? Thanks.

We have gathered at Brian O Neills before to watch some games. I'm not sure if anyone is planning on going tomorrow night, but they usually will give you a TV if you want to watch the game. Anyone else going tomorrow night?

Thanks for the welcome BigRed. Thanks for the info. It looks like I'll be heading down to Brian O'neills for the game. Hope to see some other soccer fans down there.

Corporate0000,
Welcome amigo mio! We have been going to BON for the earlier hex matches. Yet for midweek games the attendance might be low. What we all need to do here in Clutch City is be sure to pack BON on September 3rd for the IronEagles-el Tri reunion in Ohio.
Don't forget to check out Glenn Davis's radio show on 790 AM right after the WCQ. Should start at 9:00 as usual. If anyone knows different please post the change.
Dale U.S.A. tonight!!! 3-0 Keller with another clean sheet.

Welcome to BS.
I can't make tonight's game, but we've been able to get BON to show mid-week games in the past by calling ahead.
Just keep in mind that there's an Astros game on tonight at 6:00 pm on FSN, so it's probably a good idea to call them as soon as possible to let them know that some people will arrive at 7:00 pm for the US WC qual and ask about having at least one TV available. They've been very willing to accommodate in the past even for mid-week games, but it's helpful to let them know in advance.

Just called BON and they say they can play the game tonight at 7. So the game will definitely be on at least one TV if anyone feels like coming down.

I don't think I'll be able to make it tonight either. I don't get off until 7 and then I have traffic to contend with to get all the way on the other side of Houston.
And then I won't be at the Mexico one because I'll be watching it live in Columbus! Yall can all see me on TV though. :)
