Should the Chelsea forum have Off-Topic Threads?

We've already been overrun and it's only been in effect for a day. Please, please let's banish them to the Gooner forum. Let them waste their time there.

To clarify my view - I don't think they're "stupid". They are, however, unnecessary. We have a FFA forum. I don't mind when threads devolve into off topic threads (and I'm occasionally the cause), but at the end of the day, I come to the Chelsea forums for football talk. I'm not going to stop posting if one's created (duh!), I just won't post on it. But hey, if more people want it, remember folks - this isn't a dictatorship, its a cheerocracy. Er, something like that.
Carry on.

Because posting on BS, in general, is such a noble and productive way to pass the hours.......

I do need to mention that votes from Gooners will not be taken into consideration.
*Glances as mad theory!*

Oh, but it is. I've officially diagnosed multiple posters as mentally retarded just by my interaction with them. Just imagine the money and time the HMOs were saved!

Where's the option: yes to off topic threads if we have an off topic sub-forum?

I really like Thierry as well. In fact I think he is by far the best player in the Prem.

I voted "YES" only cause i'd rather see it in a specific area rather then see a thread get de-railed by American Politics or any other topic for that matter.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Just like the league and Europe, you've been replaced by a better team.
Oh, wait...scratch the Europe thing, everybody beats you there :D

I don't have anything against them. I'm a creature from FFA anyway. But I don't like that when I go to my control panel it looks like there are new messages in the forum when it's just jibber jabbering. Personally, I read everything in this forum but I only care about the Chelsea stuff. Chelsea fans can always create their own thread in FFA.

i agree with Senor Gomez on this one. As long as it's in a separate section, i don't mind.

I'm strictly against them.
I come here to read and talk football, occasional banter outside the box is fine.
Whole threads are a waste of server capacity.
120,000 posts in the Arse forum....and 90,000 of them are bollocks!

I pity the fool who starts an Off Topic thread in the Chelsea forum.

Not so Rick.
There are two fora that are filled up with nothing but bollocks.
Politics and world rivalries.
I have both fora collapsed on Bigsoccer, I never read them, let alone post in them.
If others wish to do so, thats fine.
Thats why they are there.
