Pre-season practice for high school started yesterday. I spent the whole off-season playing in indoor leagues(in the winter), playing pick up games and running(in the summer). The first day wasnt that bad but i realized that i'm still not as fit as i want 2 be. I'm thinking that i should go out and do some more running(long distance and sprints on my own). I'm just worried that i will overtrain and get burned out. Should i do the extra training or not?

Wow you started really late. We started on July 15th. Depends on your coach, how hard he pushes you and all. With my coach, no1 does extra running due to the fact that he pushes us very hard
