Its comin up Wednesday, hopefully will be a big day for Reyna and company.

A win pretty much seals the deal except for some shouting.

15K as of a week ago. Probably 18 or 19K now. We may hit 23K at gametime if we are lucky.

Well, according to Bruce on the live chat on ESPN (see related thread in USMNT N&A), "there's still plenty of great seats available." Hope that doesn't mean he's underwhelmed. Curse these mid-week games!

I could travel the 2 hour drive BUT it's in HD. I'm not going to miss a soccer match in HD. Never seen it before. Who cares about the crowd anyways.

walk up sales in the northeast are usually pretty good...i would imagine 25,000-30,000

Any ideas on the starting eleven? I see that McBride, Twellman and Cunningham are the only listed forwards, so I hope we get to see Twellman get his minutes and make his case, one way or the other.

I also find it curious to call in both Keller and Howard. I guess one of them is insurance.

I hope you are right. The weather is probably going to be nice.

But I still don't see breaking 25K.

Duing the last Hex, our game against T&T in Foxboro during the middle of the week got something likt 16 or 19K. Considering that our entire qualifying run for 2002 was better attended (and had better media coverage) than this qualifying run, expecting over 25K or even 30K is overly optimistic.

Birmingham was only a little ahead of this pace for its Wednesday nighter and ended up with 31k (of course 11-12k were from Guatamala and I don't know what the T&T support will be like).

LanDo was listed as a forward by USSoccer. He could play up top with BMB and with JOB and CR behind him, thus burying TT and JC on the banch, but I doubt it. I'd like to see TT make a case, as I think he can at least push Brian Ching off the depth chart.

Timmy should be KK's back-up in Germany, so he needs to start camping with the US and play in a few later qualies/friendlies.

It's my last week in DC, so I'm heading out for one last time out to watch this match. I'll be the fool at the bar in a Reyna jersey yelling my head off! GO USA!!!

Have the Trini fans from Brooklyn purchased their tickets yet? Or will they arrive on chartered buses prior to the game and make the walk up window a nightmare for anyone looking to get a gameday ticket. That could add some significant padding to the attendance #.

I think there was more pent up demand in Birmingham than there will be in New England.

No Beasley?? No problem!!!

McBride, Landon, Reyna, Keller & JOB should be able to take care of business without the "Beaz"!!!

USA 2 T&T 0!!!!

A little less than 51 hours to "kickoff"!!

C'mon, USA!!!!

heaven forbid we ever play a meaningful match at Home Depot Center and sell it out. No, go to New England for the 456th time in the last two years. What, USSF was afraid of massive T&T turnout in L.A.?

For a mid-week game, there is not a chance that we'd play a game in LA. With European-based players, justified or not, we'lll stick to the east coast for such games......

I see your point, as far as mid-week matches while Euro leagues are in season. Its just frustrating to see match after match played in New England and Columbus. I certainly understand the rationale for not playing against Mexico in California, but we will wind up playing fifteen WCQ and GC matches plus maybe 10 friendlies in the US, none since 1/04 at HDC, and only one (Colombia, a midweek, hastily-arranged affair thrown together at Fullerton) in the entire state.
