Damn!!! I knew my voodoo juju was working due to the lack of playing time he suffered last season, but I didn't know I was getting into his head, too.

Suffer the full power of the force Sol Campbell.....that's what happens when you cross over to the dark side, traitor.

Aaaah, you reap what you sow Campbell !!!
You do not grow up as a Spurs fan, play through the system and end up as club captain only to sign for the filth - nah you deserve your head being mucked up - you will never ever be forgiven for it, never !!!
I need some caffeine ...

....you see, it's not just that he was a Spurs fan, and that we paid for his training in becoming a wordclass centre back, and also paid his massive wages, and that he joined the one team he knew would hurt us all, no! It was that he lied and said that he would sign, making Daniel Levy reject Manchester United's £18 million bid for him 8 months earlier.

After all we did for him at the club, he left. He didn't just leave, he left on a free.

In accounting terms, what Campbell did to us was a financial nightmare, and not just a emotional one.

Daniel Levy is laughing in his boots. And good for him.

Is this Campbell saying "it might be because of my colour, or it might be because i left Spurs..."?

Yes, Sol.. it's because you're black. You're the only black person ever and we all hate you for it.

It's not because you left us after stringing the club along for almost a year about a new contract and joined the local rivals for less money than Spurs reportedly offered you.

It's because you're black. Clearly.

I want to thank Sol publicly for making me a Spurs supporter.

I started to support this club the day that the transfer went through. Sol's actions during that time were below contempt.

Same here. And I see you are from New York, and one of the reasons that such a move resonated with me was Clements going to the Yankees. Of course, at the time, we were the wicked ugly sister, maybe I would be softer now. Nah, Sol's a massive twat. I mean a black twat. Almost forgot my racist underpinnings for a moment. Where is my head?

Bloody liberal. Why do you think we wear white? Were it not for the fuddy duddy laws about today, we'd still have the hoods. The laws also explain the distinct lack of crosses seen at the Lane in recent years. :D

Well few people know this, but when the floodlights fail.. they get guys in white capes with flaming crosses to light the way.

Jaymes we never made him a world class centre back, he isnt one and never was one but i agree with everything else you said about him saying he was going to sign a contract.

I am a Mets fan although I watch mostly soccer now. I must admit that I usually support the underdog. Let's not mention the trials and tribulations of my hometown soccer team.

Rsol is, unfortunately, world class. And to top it off, he's improved since he went to the Scum.

We did miss his quality in the team at first, but look at what we've got now;

King
Dawson
Naybet
Defendi
Davenport
Gardner

(actually, forget the last one)

We've got quality all over the park. I know Gooner fans who still don't rate Rsol that highly, but like hm only for leaving us.

He could've been a legend...

I disagree, in the Premiership he is one of the best but when you see him play in the Champions League he gets turned very easily. He gets caught out against top quality players.

Fair enough. He does very well for England though, International level being a step up from CL IMO.

See, what i think is that he WAS world class.. when he left us and that first season he was. Since then though he's played less and less, got more and more injuries and is now older. I don't see him in the top defenders in the league bracket anymore, that is really reserved for King, Carragher and Terry - with Ferdinand close behind (because i don't like him at the moment, sorry :) ).

If Sol were to get back to fitness and previous form then he would certainly be a world class player.

I do agree he could have been a legend, he still is.. but only in terms of 'look at what a ******** he was' kind of way.

I don't like Eriksson. Did any of you listen to his interview on Sportsweek on fivelive on saturday?

He was asked who his paring at the back was and the guy interviewing him (Richardson I think his name was) said that surely Rio and Terry would be that pairing.

Our great England manager turned around and said that he couldn't possibly forget about Sol. So Richardson said that he's injured and doesn't play many games anymore. Erik then said that he couldn't turn his back on a fit Campbell.

What is it with this loser?! He picks player that don't play and aren't that good anymore. Carrigher is a better centre back at the moment than Sol, hell, I am too.

If Owen or Beckham didn't kick a ball till the world cup, and Defoe scored 60 goals in the season and SWP played out of his skin, you know that the Swede would pick Owen and Becks.

Terrible!

The voice that told Zidane to come back to play for France obviously is working overtime on Campbell
