Hello!
I'm making a footie pilgrimage to Europe from San Diego and want to start with this game. I've never been to a game in Europe, so the adventure is on.
Is there anyone in Liverpool who has an extra ticket to this game? It would be cool to meet up with some real fans before or after the game. What's it like getting a ticket on game day? How much are tickets?
Anyway, if you're in Liverpool and are going to the game or just want to hang out (maybe hit up that jj72 show the night before), hit me up at briangause@yahoo.com.

Spare tickets for the Scags game?
I don't think so. Sorry. You might want to start with something lower down the list of everyone else's priorities. ;)

Is it seriously this difficult to get a single ticket to this game?

I'm not saying it isn't a mad, crazy game. I'm saying that everywhere, at all times, there is one season-ticket holder somewhere who has a ticket he isn't using.
If anyone has an extra ticket, I'd love to see this game with a real liverpool fan.
I'm an american who loves soccer. If you're open to that, I'm psyched to see a great game. Anyone?!

With all due respect, anyone with a season ticket who can't make the game has a big bunch of friends, relatives, work colleagues and vague acquaintances who will tear his arm off if he offers them his book. I know a guy who's interrupting his family holiday in Thailand to fly back for three days, just to go to this game. I don't have a season ticket, I'm having to rely on a club official to get me a ticket (and no, I can't get you one too ;) ) - believe me, you've got more chance of finding golf ball-sized diamonds in your sock drawer than you have of finding spare tickets for the scags game.
You may get a touts ticket if you turn up at the ground on the day, but you'll be looking at paying £200 for it.

A nice comparison Game 7 world series Red Sux v Yankees tied 3 3, Johnston verus Schilling.
