Good lineup. I would go with that exact team. Lets get 3 or 4 goals and get our season going.

Ta. And I agree there should be goals in this one.

I would pick LB's line-up.
But I think Rafa may start Traore ahead of Warnock.

Remember the last time Sunderland came to Anfield and played for the 0 - 0 they never even crossed the halfway line all game a full 11 man defence. Hope they have more of an attacking attitude this time and make more of a game of it.
I agree with the line up but Zenden instead of Garcia.

I doubt it. They gave up 3 to 10-man Charlton at home on their return. I doubt they want to get torched for 3 or 4 at Anfield. If not 11, there'll be 10 behind the ball.
That said, liverbird's linup seems like the one that will hopefully let us get something early and some more later on.

It'll be a one end match...each half. But don't let them get away!

Need these three points. If we want to be anywhere near the top at the end of the year, we've got to hammer teams like this.

Sunderland at home is possibly the most winnable fixture all season. 3 points is a must. Our next two matches will be postponed because of the Champions League and the Super Cup. So we better put some points on the board, because Chelski/Arsenal/Man U could have 10-12 points before we even play our 3rd game.

Yeah, but never mind what the Chavs and the Buccs get up to. Let's just win our home games irrespective of who it is comes calling. Sunderland will come here thinking a point is a good start - they will doubtless have thought they could get something off Charlton, because the Addicks are that sort of team, everyone fancies their chances against them, even if you haven't actually got any in reality. So they'll be a bit put out at getting dicked that easily at home on the first day and will want to take what they can from Anfield.
We're going to have to break them down. The performance against Boro suggests we can create, now all we need to do is finish.

as a former bandwagon fan of Town, i was keen on Darren Bent, so not surprising to see him rack up a brace. Charlton will be tough this year when they get good play from their backline, i think, cuz they have quality up front in Bent and Bartlett ( when fit ). plus Rommedahl can motor and Murphy and Holland are decent midfielders.

[QUOTE]Somehow I doubt that.
I hope so though. You're becoming annoying, repetitive, and totally full of shite.
You seem to have this need to be crapped on...and enjoy it.
Say after me "Europe doesn't mean a thing, it can't because Arsenal have NEVER EVER won anything there"
You're a boring troll!
