Meanwhile deep inside the bowels of Stamford Bridge in a secret bomb shelter...

RA: Piotr?
PK: Yes, master?
RA: This can't be, I must buy FIFA.
PK: You mean, you want me to bribe FIFA Officials?
RA: No, I mean buy FIFA.
PK: But master, how much should I offer?
RA: Start out with 2 fingers and go from there...
PK: Isn't that what started all this trouble?

Bullied? Yeah, right. And Terrell Owens was bullied into signing his contract last year.

Does this mean he has to join us in Jan?
I've got a feeling this isn't the end of the saga expect appeals etc and him never to wear the red of Utd ....
hope I'm wrong though

He'll probably never pull on a United shirt. (Although the way players change their minds these days, who know?) However, it would appear that United should at least be able to benefit financiallly when Obi leaves Lyn.

Well, with him off at Lyn we should be monitoring his progress and see if he's ready for a few first team games. W/ Jones on loan all season long, Phil and Kleberson sold, we don't really have anyone to play CM in the CarlingCup... and I like it when we go deep simply because it gives the younger and less experienced players a game or two against good opposition.

He'll retire from football, spend some time chilling with Anders Frisk and return next season to play for Chelsea with a new identity -- Ben Mikel.

Anyone thinking there has been some nefarious conduct by Chelsea in this? It would seem too brazen and risky for a club who doesn't need to take such risks.

But not for a club that considers itself above the law. Breaking into Democratic headquarters at Watergate was brazen, risky and unnecessary too.

I wouldn't want him, but as Utd. have a signed contract, if he wants to go to Chelski, there's money to be made from the deal

Too bad they didn't video tape the contract negotians. That would put a kabosh on the "they forced me" crap. More like "I smell the rubles! Let me renig!".
