He looks like a serial killer.
but anything over 40,000 pounds a week is too much.

Heh, Edman's turned into the green-eyed monster! ;)
So what if Rio earns £100,000 a week? It's what the market dictates for a defender of his ability. Does Edman want a maximum wage?

Why is it sour grapes?
Rio Ferdinand is showing exactly what is wrong with football in the current era. He owes Man U a lot of his best form for them sticking up for him when he couldn't remember to pee properly. Now he won't sign a deal for what's on the table? give me a break, to the average millionaire footballer what difference does £20k a week make? you are already earning silly money, more than most people in the stands can only dream of.. and you want more to remain at your current club?
******** off Rio... sign the deal or go to Chelsea and show your true colours.

....What ability? He is very over-rated guys.

I disagree about him being over-rated, he is the best defender in England.

He was.
End of last season he was such a waster. Going through the motions and partying with low-lifes like Jody Morris, getting questioned by the police etc.

You are aware of the fact that the media completely blew that story out of proportion because it would sell papers? And you are aware fo the fact that the ink is long since dry on his new contract?
As for those calling Rio overrated, just look at our form and defensive records with and without him over the last few years...

Yes, yes and noted good sir. I actually do think he's certainly one of the three best defenders England have. Along with King and Dawson naturally. ;)

....Oh come on! That was well above the groin area! I feel that Campbell is a better centre back, as is Terry & King.

Agree with Terry even though he is effing slow and being biased King (more even than better maybe), . Campbell a couple of years ago I would have said yes in a heartbeat. He's a porker now though and was never that quick to begin with. He's not as good at reading the game as Ferdinand IMO and seems to be injured every other week.
I do wish people would stop trying to talk about Carragher as a centre back for England though. Who knows, Woodgate might do something at Real this season. So that leaves us with 2 CBs with pace - King and Ferdinand and two slow arses but who can read the game very well - Woodgate and Terry.

You are right about Woodgate reading the game. He reads the highlights in the Sun papers suppliment while sitting in his wheelchair.
