My fave is the venetian. It's got that great combo of great shopping, great food, and the ceiling and water and gondolas are fcuking awesome. The NYNY one kicks arse too though. Who doesn't love a place with a Krispy Kreme AND an ESPN Zone? LOL
I've stayed at the Venetian before, not a big fan. Nice rooms but very impersonal.

Sweet! Benefits for both shows: "O" is incredible - you won't be dissapointed. "Mama Mia" - you add to the royalties my company earns since we own the ABBA catalog! :D

I wanted to stay there, but my ex wanted to stay at the Mirage, so there we stayed........ *Rick shakes head at what a mug he has been.....*
I like Vegas for three days and then it gets too much, would be nice to go back and see a few more shows though, last time I saw Siegfried and Roy.

Yep, I was there a couple of years back. It was good fun, though a bit crazy - I'm not really a gambler so was there to see the sights and shows more than anything.

Yeah 3 days max...we went in August and it was hot as hell. I swear you could feel the pavement burning your feet through your tennis shoes.

i took my parents to Vegas last August, we stayed at Bally's for $60/night. Las Vegas Hilton sports book was awesome-you could bet on footy and watch it live on their big screens. Also saw the Queen musical "We will rock you" at the Paris. Paris' breakfast buffet is a must.

Good tip on the Paris buffet, i've heard their crepes are amazing. Can't wait to go, leaving tomorrow afternoon and staying til Friday.

I always wanted to go to Vegas, but never had the time/money. I think I might go at some point next year though. It's one of those places that I think everyone needs to experience once in their lifetime.
The funny thing about Vegas though is that all of the major casinos have offices here to arrange trips for Taiwanese tourists. And I don't mean small one or two person offices either. I mean like 30 people. Asia is a major market for them to go after.

To be honest, Vegas is fun, but there are a bunch of places that i would rather go than there. Vegas is close so i end up there a few times a year. A lot of people think that Vegas is a great place to party, and it is, but Miami blows it away.

went to both of em over the past month =) love em both. been to both places several times, different scenes to hit, but they're both really 24 hour towns and that's all i really want.
next stop...back to New Orleans! :p
