Yeah Dan, shop around more...perhaps even with some traveling services that are out of Britain. Coming out of Chicago it should be much less than that. As of yesterday, I could still get one out of Dallas for around $550. Obviously going to have to do some more searching now! :)

tonight....a band called Majorette (from brooklyn - just signed to us) is filming an MTV special that I will be attending. After that, heading to CBGB's to see Living Colour!!

I am going to DC tomorrow to see a band I was friends with in college. Will be hanging with old friends and and an ex-g.f. (did someone say booty call?:p)

Sunday = basking in the glory of Arsenal's victory against the chavs.

btw the Jackson Mississippi airport Starbucks closes at 7...... :eek: I was freezing and the whole airport closes early and we had a 3 1/2 hour delay because of storms in Atlanta yesterday-got home about 1:30! So I made it back at least :D

PS The Delta sky magazine gave the blurb for Fever Pitch as based on the book by Nick Hornby and his obsession with Manchester United football team....... :mad:

Well, I have a nice little Saturday planned. Head over to Home Depot....

Actually, a buddy of mine just bought a new house on the island and we will be heading over there Saturday for some swimming and drinking. Sunday will begin by firing up the PPV and watch the Mighty Gunners whip the snot out of the W. London Chavscum.

Last night Leigh and I opened up a nice bottle of pinot and put in Sideways. Great flick.

I really liked Sideways too, but am I the only one who left feeling really depressed?

As for the weekend, it's a tough one - probably breaking up with Jill tonight (long story). Saturday it's hanging out with the guys, and then Sunday it's up to Philly for the match against the Russkies.

They are actually in the Santa Ynez valley just outside of Santa Barbara. I went to a number of places there one year with a friend and we had a blast. Gainey wine is from there and they have it here in CC. Good stuff. Look for Santa Ynez wines next time you hit the liquor store!
