After a somewhat promising beginning the Baggies can't seem to get three points. Saturday's last-second equaliser for Bolton came when Albion went into defending mode for much of the second half as Bolton was down to 10 men. The defence held up until the last possible moment, but Bolton's pressure paid off.

Where is the urgency?

If Megson thinks a one-goal margin will suffice against mid-table and lower-end opposition in the Premiership, he's sadly mistaken. We don't have much quality in midfield and up front, but somehow, Albion have to stop relying on the old reliable 11-behind-the-ball tactic and push forward. Create more chances.

Without doubt, when the transfer window opens at teh New Year, we are going to have to look for some more help for Jason Roberts up front. Hughsie and Dobie haven't really made their presence felt, and now Dichio is on the way out.

I don't even want to think about it.

But we've got Everton away (my first away game of the season) on the 23rd not Boro.

I've still gone for the optimistic vote though :)
