I'm starting this thread because I couldn't find any news on him anywhere else on this board. Most of you who saw the Gold Cup saw Jaime Penedo's excellent performance. As you may or may not know he was given an offer at Italian Serie A club Cagliari. Apparently he has turned the deal down. From what I heard on GolTV News he went to try out for some club in Spain.

Things dont bode well with Jaime Penedo.. Didnt pass with Birmingham City and will probably be picked up by Polideportivo Ejido of Spain, I always thought he shouyld have gone to Italy, but no ones listen to me., lol, His manager did a piss poor job apparantly..

Thanks, I found an article in there which basically explained the situation about him heading into the Gold Cup and how he got some attention. It also said that the Birmingham team he tried out with was a reserve team. So now it appears he's heading into Polideportivo Ejido which is a Second Division team in Spain, what a damn shame.
