I'm new to the Bay area and need to find a local to watch the matches. Anyone have a clue? I live in the Mission, so's the closer the better.

I live in the Mission, as well. In regards to English matches, the only really reliable place is the Mad Dog in the Fog which is in the lower Haight area (corner of Haight and Fillmore to be exact). They'll open up early and show the ppv matches, as well as have a nice amount of Liverpool supporters.

Go to www.Soccertv.com and there is an extensive pub guide at the WAY top of the page to the left.

I'll be watching it a friends that morning, but I'll run into you there at some point. It kinda becomes my second home this time of the year.

I'll definitely be there for the Sunderland match.
