Has anyone done the Arsenal Stadium Tour? I think it runs like £30 per person. I'm heading over for the Christmas Holidays and possibly want to book a tour, I just want to know a little more about it and if it's worth it.

Speak with Rick, I'm sure he has all the info.

Is it different than the tour that the ArseAm group took last season? That was a pretty cool tour. We didn't pay 30. I'm pretty sure it was free.

I think the 30 GBP one is the legends tour: your guide is an ex-Gunner like Kenny Sansom, Bob Wilson, Charlie George, et al. and you get an autograph and a picture at the end. The regular tour is only something like 10 GBP and well worth it especially if you get to see the dressing rooms (Rick hooked up GunnerPhan and I for a private tour this past January before the NUFC match...fantastic stuff).

Now you're talking. Maybe the group of people over at the end of December could pull this off. I know there are several others besides myself going to be there.

Already looking at a date to suit you all. Not sure when exactly and I will be in touch by e-mail to all in that group (about 12 I think) to set up a tour for you. It isn't however with a Legend. So if that is what you want, you would have to book that yourself...........But then again, it would be with me..... :D

You're legend enough for me and my group! ;) Looking forward to the trip, the matches, the tour, the golf, and some pints Rick.

No - just a bunch of us who are planning to spend the holidays in London from Christmas until right after we beat ManU at home(Jan 3rd). All of us are booking are own flights and doing our own thing, we just happen to be going at the same time. I guess we will all be meeting at the one of the matches.
Thanks Rick! I'm not sure if I prefer you or Charlie George, but I named a dog after him, I haven't done that for you yet. :D

Stella - London Pride - Guiness - etc for sure.

Just be careful with the tour, because I think they don't do it the day before, the day of, or the day after a home match. Also, on holidays and days "in lieu of" the holidays. Last year, I was pissed off to find out that the one day I was in London, the 28th, was a "holiday in lieu of boxing day" or something like that and thus no tour going on...

This is correct, although "sometimes" it can be got round......But certainly not the day of the game.

Sounds good, just keep us up to date and I'll be sure not to book anything else that day. I'm sure my wife will want to do a few non-football related things. Me I'm good with all football related things.

I think I am going to try and do the tour when I am there in October. Between touring Highbury and Wimbledon, I will have covered my shrines for a while.
By the by, is it just me or do the threads here get hijacked by beer on a regular basis? NOT COMPLAINING! Just a newbie making an observation.
