Could be, we've never met, but he was one of the first people on any BBS that had anything to do with the Crew. Big Wolves fan and when I read what he writes, the voice I hear is more British than US.

you should really meet him then. slow kentucky drawl, dresses like a slob, can't hold his liquor, and he's a bit on the fat side too. nice enough guy if you can get past all that, though.
