When Roy Keane was clearly going to leave Nottingham Forest after their relegation 12 years ago, every club in the land wanted the magnificent midfielder.

It was a huge decision that probably changed the course of Premiership history. Would Blackburn have ever been relegated with Keane in their side? Would United have enjoyed domestic dominance and European glory without the man who drove them forward and gave one of the most inspirational displays ever in a red shirt when guiding them past Juventus in the 1999 UEFA Champions League semi-final?

He joins Schmeichel, Cantona, Giggs and Cole, amongst others. Scroll all of the down to find the links to other inductee profiles.

Living legend. Can't we just plant a tree and grow a whole bunch of him? It would solve all our problems. ;)

I wish I could've seen him play when he was at his peak. To me, he is what you call around these parts, "The Man".

Congrats Keano!

What's your favorite Keano moment?

One of mine is from last season, where he got in Viera's face in the tunnel before the Arse match.

that was good. also his goal against Juve in 99 in Turin. class showing of a skipper leading by example. sheer determination that was.

Keano's at the cricket today. he has never really struck me as being much of a cricket fan TBH.
