Which option would you have been happiest with as ownership of United?
After some rather unpopular comments about the anti glazer demonstrations It occured to me that there hasn't appeared to be a potential owner of the club or ownership structure that would have been popular with fans.
So, in all honesty and assuming that the madrid/barca memebers as owners system was not an option, what would have been your preference and why...

I'm waiting for some Londoner to post "Where's Roman's name on the list?"...

I picked the PLC option. It allowed fans to own part of the club and have their voices heard. (even if that wasn't its sole purpose for being created)
If a fifth of our "fans" had been buying shares, instead of shirts, we wouldn't be where we are now.

I want to vote for the plc but having Kenyon's name tied to it makes me squeamish...

I dunno much about that, but from what (little) I have read it seemed to be an ok purchase for the club only the damnded government blocked it for monopolic purposes?

I voted for the same thing, same reason.

I voted for myself. Don't worry, though. I would pay close attention to the posts on BS.

Apart from a few individuals, none of whom have any interest in owning a soccer club as far as I can see, any single owner would have to borrow as Glazer has to own Utd. The problem is Utd's value - approximately $1.5 billion. Not exactly pocket money for many.
The best option, not included in the poll, would be a fans trust or some such arrangement but that too would run into problems of finding enough fan dollars for ownwership. So a plc, splitting the ownership amongst many and preferably without Kenyon, and fans' representitives on the board is probably the closest we could get.
