Arsenal have made a formal complaint to FA about Chelsea's inappropriate community shield victory last Sunday. FA is investigating on the possibility of filing two charges against Chelsea for excessive time wasting, with Crespo being the main culprit, and a violation of free flowing football by playing long balls to Drogba all game.
Arsenal coach also made a side complaint that the pitch was bad. If found guilty of any of these charges, Chelsea may be fined a maximum of 500,000 pounds, and a pending prohibition to play in next year's community shield if they happen to win both EPL and FA cups.

I don't know... that long ball chest trap volley into the back of the net certainly had some flow to it. Wouldn't you say?

FA wrong as usual. Pffft. ;)

Haha. I don't see how we could get fined for this. For the time-wasting bit, if Arsenal isn't going to pressure us on the ball, then it isn't our fault. I don't see how we could get fined for the long ball situation either because it was the way we played. How could we get fined for playing our own style of play. If Arsenal aren't able to control Drogba, then it isn't our problem. :D As for the pitch being bad, both teams had to play on it, so Wenger shouldn't be complaining. I don't recall Chelsea personally chosing to play at Millenium Stadium for the Community Shield. This is some bull.

I think ZANI stopped taking his meds...he's actually made quite a few sensible, thought out and worthwhile posts. Great job ZANI!
