While reading a preview on IGN about the game they showed a couple pics. I was looking at some of these and noticed that they're newspaper for headlines is The S*n. I know their just generic names for fake news, but someone at FIFA obviously did not do their homework when coming up with that one. All the fake names they could've picked, and they pick the one that'll piss off a bunch of L'Pool supporters.

Other than that it sounds like the game will be pretty good, though I always get the Winning Eleven series which i think is better.

They did the last year as well. I don't think they're entirely generic, since France has L'Equipe, and Italy Gazzeta Dello Sport.

I cannot wait for that to come out, I have been playing my career mode a lot more recently.

I like FIFA mainly because they have the official stadiums/teams/players, but WE gameplay was better in my eyes

For its gameplay faults, I still prefer FIFA.

I can get lost in the detail and it improves so much each year.

I love how the career mode works, it looks as though it will be much better, I hope they make a few of the small problems I noticed as well

No prob....I'm in the same boat as u guys. I like WE's gameplay better but to me, their career mode is not very good and that's what I like. FIFA looks liek they've improved a ton. Plus I don't know if I can wait till Feb to get WE here. FIFA comes out soon.

I'll have to check out FIFA, but as usual, i am sure its repetetive and formulaic gameplay will again push me back to the beautiful arms of the WE series.

Just found out that WE8 is in the top ten PS2 games for Gamespot.com, as far as its Review Score.
