should be a great game. I wonder who Rafa will pick for his starting XI.

I just realized I'm going to be out of town this weekend, and won't be able to access FSC. Argh!

Should be a good match to start the season. Boro are not to be taken lightly,as if Rafa would. He must realize though that these teams, Boro and other middle of the leaguers, caused him (and us) a lot of grief last season. It also lost us 4th spot in the table.
Like how would you feel about Rafa right now if we'd have gone out of the CL in about the quarters and finished 5th in the league after losing those games that we really should have won? (Quite a sentence!)

If we want to be in the top 4 next May, then.........This is one of the first of the "Must Win" matches.....!

First match for liverpool and a win will be needed and I hate to say this we may only get a silly draw out of it,after the qualifying stages of CL I aint that confident that we will male a flying start to the new campaign.
My instincts tell me ''what the ******** have i just said''

NC RED

Reina

Finnan Carragher Hyppia Warnock

Garcia Alonso Gerrard Riise

Moro Cisse

This lineup was pretty damn good in the CL on wed. I say play them again and kick Boro's ass.

^ Sounds good to me.

Need to start out on the right foot and get a good result (i.e. 3 pts).

I'm going to have to DVR the match 'cos I'm playing paintball to kick off my friend's batchelor party.

I hope they give me red paint.

I like NC Red's line up.

Tho' we may see Baros.

"Must win" for the first match of the season, no. But getting a good start is always a good thing. A warm fuzzy feeling in fact.

I have already reserved the telly and told my wife and kids I want the room to myself and no interruptions. The wife booked herself a hair appointment. She's an angel. :D

Steven Gerrard, who set up all three goals, hurt his back whilst celebrating Morientes' second strike, but expects to be fit for the Premiership opener against Middlesbrough.

I hope this is crap, cause boro are a good team and away from home they could hurt us badly if gerrard doesnt play. But the news does sound real dumb,so im sure its nothing.
