Was wondering what teams you think could be pushing for a top 4 spot this year.
Personally i don't think Everton will even finish in the top half of the table. In my mind its got to be Spurs and Bolton leading the charge.
Opinions?

I agree about Spurs and Bolton. Most others are putting Newcastle and Manchester City above us, which I don't see at all. If both you guys AND the Toon finish ahead of us, I may as well kill myself. :D
As for Everton, ideally I think we might squeeze a UEFA Cup spot but that's being really generous. My original prediction was 10th, though I'm a gloom-and-doom type.

Personally, I've pegged Man City for an Everton like suprise this year (with Bill Simmons' Ewing Theory as the impetus behind it). This is how I think it will play out:
1. Chelsea
2. Liverpool
3. Arsenal
4. Manure
5. Man City
6. Newcastle
7. Middlesbrough
8. Tottenham
9. Bolton
10. Everton
11. Aston Villa
12. Blackburn
13. Birmingham
14. Charlton
15. Portsmouth
16. Sunderland
17. Wigan
18. Fulham
19. West Brom
20. West Ham
That's not presumptous at all:)

I think thats a somewhat realistic prediction, I hope you're wrong about West Ham though, I kind of like having them in the prem. West Ham supporters are a rowdy bunch, I like rowdy people, plus I'm an Iron Maiden fan.

I know, I know, Everton are a little high, but they did get fourth last year, so you've gotta give some respect:p :D

West Ham are my least favorite of the promoted teams, and I like Sunderland and Wigan to a degree. Usually, at the bottom, it's a complete crapshoot, so I just go with teams I like.

There shouldn't be any team pushing us for 4th spot. I expect a clear seperation of the top 4 teams from the rest. We should be pushing Man United and Arsenal for 2nd or 3rd, and if all goes well, we could be pushing Chelski for title.

1. Chelsea
2. ManUtd
3. Liverpool
4. Arsenal
5. Tottenham
6. Bolton/Everton/'Boro
I think Chelsea will still run away and hide.
Arsenal's defense looks a little suspect...and not very deep. I think they will struggle at times.
Don't rate Man City at all
Tottenham has quality and youth. Look for them to challenge the top 4.
I see an interesting fight for the final place in the UEFA Cup.

Love Iron Maiden. Saw them front row last year and almost cried. .. even caught Bruce Dickinson's sweatband. lmao!.
What's their connection to West Ham?

Good to see, I know i'm not the only one who's really optimistic about this season.

You need to stop listening to the bookies and their bolloxed up 3/4 odds for Chelski winning the league. STOP IT!!!

i think either West Brom or Sunderland stay up. Fulham will die a painful death. i have worries for Pompey, though they might manage 17th. Blackburn has an outside chance to stay, imo. Hughes is a serious chap, won't brook any delinquencies from his lads.
