I think we have some GM's on this board, but I'm not sure what the proper way to go about this is.
You'd think people would at least be smarter than this:
A team in my series (VI.87) was reset last week. The new team is Congaree Fire , ID 222575. As with all new teams that pop in, I always check their transfer history to see if they were like me and bought something like 30 players their first week in a desparate attempt to improve their squad.
Well imagine my surprise when I see he's got one purchase, a 29 yo TSI 290 outfielder and he paid $500,000 for him. Max starting money, max debt allowed. At first glance, I was very confused because in the "team bought from" column, I swear it said Congaree Fire! How could someone buy and sell a player from themselves??
Ahhhhh upon closer inspection, it turns out he bought the player from a team named "Congaree Rapids" ID 223046, Div VI.33. Both teams come from the same region (South Carolina) and both have all their 5 latest logins from the same subroot IP address (some of which are within minutes of each other).
So where do I go from here?
