I'll be leaving for montreal this week and was wondering if someone could suggest a place to watch sunday's opener against new castle?

His name is Romeo, great guy. He lives in Montreal and watches all the games, he just came over to Austria for the pre-season training.

There are a couple of good sports bars in Montreal. Champs Sportsbar (3956 St-Laurence Street) will carry it if it's available in any way in Canada.
Too bad it's not available on Fox Sportsworld Canada (at least not live). I checked the schedule & they're showing a match on tape delay at 1PM (4hrs+ after the match). If you don't mind watching it on delay, my place would be an option. Do you like Italian cooking?:D

I will check around for you and let you know by tomorrow/Tuesday the latest.

BTW, if you were coming a week later there would be no problem seeing the match (vs Chelsea). One of our all-sports Canadian stations (The Score) is carrying that game, along with 29 others on Sundays this season. I think the station is "Russian owned" already (7 of the first 15 games feature Chelsea & the two featuring Arsenal are both against Chelsea)!

P.S. I just hit the century mark for posts! :D

He seems like a great guy; however he is likely a Habs fan. Thus, he is not to be trusted. :D Go Leafs Go!

Actually, I'm a ......

... fan.

Funny how Yzerman & Bergkamp will probably be playing their last season at the same time. Next June will be really rough for me! :(

P.S. BTW that's the Stanley Cup he's got over his head. It's been so long you guys haven't won it, I didn't know if you recognized it. Uh...... come to think of it, you might have seen it at the Hockey HOF (probably the only way you'll see it in Toronto any time soon! :D
