Hard to choose while Reina and Carson are really unknown quantities.

I was thinking the same too, so for now Dudek is the best among the three. Haven't seen enough of Reina in La Liga
If this trend of calling players by the two repeating syllables continues, Dudek will be (in deep) Dudu

I'll wait until I see Reina play a few competitive matches before I make a decision.

It did need improving, there is no doubt about that. Dudek is a great keeper but is not strong enough. For Carra to have to bark at him before the pen shootout in Istanbul, just goes to show that he thought Dudek didn't have it in him to do what he did off his own steam. If it wasn't for Carra, We'd have never seen the Dudek shuffle.

Sort of. But I haven't seen Reina play, so how can I judge based on that?

sure. you are right. it is just what amazes me, because it looked for me that after champions league final like that polish goalie will get so much self confidence and so on, that there is a good time for him to establish as reds' no1 for coming years. anyway he should change the club now, as he can lose his chance to play in world cup if sitting on the bench.

Fractured elbow rules out Dudek
Liverpool's Champions League final hero Jerzy Dudek has been ruled out for three months after dislocating his right elbow in training.
The accident happened today at the club's Melwood training complex, and the player was initially treated at the ground and then taken to hospital.
The Poland goalkeeper will now be out of action until November, ruling out any prospect he might be sold before the transfer deadline.
Dudek has been replaced in the side by Spaniard Jose Reina - and Scott Carson also now seems to be ahead of him in the pecking order - but he has said he wants to stay at the club.

I don't think Rafa would have bothered to sign Reina if he wasn't better than Dudek/Carson/Kirkland.

Yea, well, different midfielders offer different needs to different teams. Goalies are there to do one damn thing, keep the ball out of the net.

Thats a completley different situation. Nunez was a thrown into the Owen deal to give us depth at right midfield. We already had depth at goalkeeper. Rafa has signed Reina to improve the quality at the position. It is obvious from preseason that Reina is first choice and Dudek is out of the picture (even before his injury today). Its unfortunate for Dudek, but he will always be remembered for that night in Istanbul. The Reina deal was done even before the Champions League final, and one game wasn't going to be enough to change Rafa's mind.

Thats the same quote I get when i bring the cursor over the green nipple, and this happens to be my 101 message on the liverpool board still a distance to reach and nipples to win,101 i smy favourite number as well.
Now the best suggestion would be to have this poll mid seson so you know all the supporters and players find out the true potentials of each keeper.

Dudek is saying he is not going to give up in fight for No 1 jersey at Anfield (today in interview in Polish biggest newspaper). Do you think he s got any chances now in Liverpool?
