Do any of you honestly think he is going to be able to
return to his old form..I do not..:(

He is 32 years old coming off double major major knee surgery.
How effective can he be. He will not be as quick as
he was in the past and at this point with Chelsea and
Arsenal possessing great speed at the midfield position
can we really afford to have OGS out there.

I am really upset that we are not trying to upgrade
the midfield position. What are Gill and Fergie waiting
for. United to be 20 points behind Chelsea...
Alan Smith is a start but we still need one or two
more speedy midfielders...

SPEND SOME D@MN MONEY!!!!!!

“When you go down in a tunnel, at first you’re leaving the light behind you, but then, though there’s still dark in front of you and you have to go uphill to reach it, you can see the light again. That’s how I feel. It’s put things in perspective that I have friends, close friends, who’ve suffered things in life that are really bad — not a little problem like this.” -LEGEND

The day ole steps back on the pitch at OT will one of the most emotinal nights in the last 4-5 years of manchester united, that how much he means to fans and the club ..i think everyone of us would give up ALOT just to see him score one more goal and i think we are going to see it ...maybe 5-8 goals .....YOU ARE MY SOLSKJAER

NO calls now, we'll have to wait to see how he performs when he comes back, only then can you guys start talking about selling him or buying a replacement.

Exactly. OGS has worked very hard to get back. He deservers a chance to prove his worth to us on the pitch and until then one cannot pass judgement as to his future with us.
For all he has done for our club, he needs to be given a fair shot at getting his place back in the squad.

Just posted on Manutd.com

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be ready to return to first-team action at the start of the new season, according to Sir Alex Ferguson.
The Norwegian striker has been plagued with a serious knee injury since September 2003 but, after nearly two full seasons on the sidelines, is apparently all set for an emotional comeback, despite another recent injury scare.

Sir Alex revealed: "Ole just felt his knee again recently, but it was a different part and now the swelling has gone down.

"He is now back in training and, you never know, maybe he could be fit for the start of the season."

Ole's last appearance came in the 2004 FA Cup Final win over Millwall, but the 32-year-old has remained a fans' favourite despite his absence.

A banner reading simply '20 LEGEND' has been resident in the Stretford End during Solskjaer's recuperation, and the player's name is still chanted throughout games.

And after nearly two tortuous years, Ole's eventual return is guaranteed to be an emotional occasion for player and fans alike.
