Pasta.
Edit: 45 minutes! You should be in pre-game warm-ups by that time.

During the season, I always eat 2 pieces of fruit and a grain before the game. Like a peach, an orange, and cereal or something.
I think this would go better in the "Player" forum?

they say pasta or whole wheat bread about an hour or 2 before the game.
I just pick up 2 chicken wraps at a local deli and stuff them in about an hour before the game. Hey, it works for me... Definitely no soda or orange juice though.

I've had success with Powerbars also, they have good amounts of all nutrients, except water of course. I used to like the chocolate chip, but I don't really care for it now (too many chocolate chips, but it does provide nice energy). I prefer the cranberry now. I don't like Nutrigrain bars either, it's like a huge starchy bar of paste.

Not sure it's a good idea to drink coke before the game.
