Apologies if this has been posted before but I haven't seen it on here and it has just made my day. He may have gone to Juve but he's still a turd.

It is not very well known that when growing up Roy Keane supported Tottenham, his favourite player was Hoddle.

Yeah that is what most people think.

Page 5 of his book:

"Everyone in Mayfield followed an English club; Spurs was mine. Why? Because most of my pals followed bloody Manchester United, Liverpool or Arsenal who won the double the year i was born. Glenn Hoddle was my favourite player. One of my happiest childhood days was spent watching Spurs beat Man City in a replay to win the centenary Cup final. Ricardo Villa's winning goal after a mazy thirty-yard dribble that took him past defender after defender was a sensational climax to a thrilling game."

Yep Keano

cracks me up he loved Hoddle, obviously Ghod was an amazingly gifted player, but you'd have thought Keano would have looked up to another tough nut like Souness or something.

I swear this video is a bit longer and when it was shown on Sky it didn't have the audio. I also love the handshake bit at the end. I was pissing myself laughing at what Neville did.

Celtic are the favourite club of more or less all irishmen.
They usually follow them and an english team, which is also the case with Roy Keane.

.....most players that were great in their day normally make rubbish managers.

Mourinho, Wenger, Jol, Ferguson, Benitez, etc were not good players.

Souness, Gullit, etc were. Enough said.

He supported Celtic, and Spurs as a kid actually. Alfe Inge Haaland was an Arsenal fan obviously.
