Mornin all. Read some bad news on the Chappelle Show front:
Chappelle's Show Is 'Done,' Murphy Says
NEW YORK (AP) - Time to face the facts: Dave Chappelle's hit Comedy Central series isn't coming back, says one of its stars. "'Chappelle's Show' is over, man. Done," comic Charlie Murphy told TV Guide. "It took me a long time to be able to say those words, but I can say it pretty easy now, because it's the truth."
Chappelle's sudden "spiritual retreat" to South Africa on the eve of his show's third season has left the series in limbo since May. About half of a new season had been filmed before Chappelle left, Murphy said.
"I'm disappointed it ended the way it did, but I'm not angry with anybody," he said. "'Chappelle's Show' was like the Tupac of TV shows. It came out, it got everybody's attention, it was a bright shining star, but it burned out and for some strange reason, it burned out quick."
Comedy Central has always said the door is open for Chappelle to return, spokeswoman Aileen Budow said Wednesday.
Network chief Doug Herzog met with Chappelle on June 3, but that has been their last communication, she said.
Murphy, the older brother of comic Eddie Murphy, said his two seasons with Chappelle made him a star.
"Now I can go out and do stand-up," he said. "I'm getting movie offers. It's off the hook. Me getting to the next level or whatever's going to happen is going to come from the next things I do, but 'Chappelle's Show' served its purpose and I'll always be grateful."

There is tremendous pressure to be funny-don't think Chappelle really thought about that when he signed his huge deal......The show was awesome though and Chapelles stand up is some of the funniest I have seen in a while. I hope he does not get in to much trouble with his contract and such though!

Any big plans for the weekend? Just hanging out for us and enjoying not having any visitors for awhile!

That's a shame about Chappelle's show, it was funny as hell. As for the weekend, I've got that date tonight (we talked for 2.5 hours last night!), possibly getting together with my sister tomorrow, and the Charity Shield on Sunday.

As for the Shield, I am thinking of heading up to San An to see the match, but haven't heard for Peter (deurges) yet on whether or not he is going to be there. Not sure I want to travel 2 hours to sit by myself in a pub.

I was skimming more tourist sites for the upcoming London trip. Did yall know that Manchester is heralded as UK's hottest gay/lesbian city? This may explain a few questions I had about some of the ManUre players... :) Even the airline ads are targeting it saying "we fly both ways..." and for accommodations in the gay north they say that "The good vibrations Canal Street gives out ensures the warmest of welcomes to be had in all those hotels that hug the village...which afford you the freedom to come as you please." :0 And yall say I'M a pervert.

Nope, she lives in Tulsa. But you could give them to her because she lives near my mom and she is coming down in a few weeks.

I'm going to give her a call on lunch to touch base re: tonight. Cool thing 'bout the Bowery is that it is 2 floors, the bottom being a really chill bar and upstairs the stage. I am really excited about this show. I have been spinning the HS's "Separation Sunday" alot recently. there is a track on the Phan's Choice discs I'll mail ya...

Hey guys! Busy busy today! Big weekend planned-meeting college roomies for girls night out on Saturday and hurriedly returning so that Sean can go to the airport and I can be home for the Charity Shield on Sunday! :D
PS: Cam I think your fixtures don't work and are installed incorrectly because you did NOT read the directions..... ;) :p
