I am going to hold off on that in the hopes that somebody comes back with a place that is very luxurious and cheap. :D Already have some recommendations from Detlef and others but want yours too.

Where is everyone staying in London this year? If you don't mind me asking.

I'm staying at the 'Pembury Inn' on seven sisters in late September.. just a couple blocks up from the Finsbury Park tube station.

It's supposedly not the nicest place but cheap and an easy walk to highbury and the two tube lines that go through FP.

I don't really care too much about the room, but most of the reviews go on about really thin walls and tiny bathrooms. We'll see. I checked and if needed, there is no penalty for cancelations at least 24 hrs in advance.
