I met Diane Lane in the late '80s in Augusta.....she was really nice!
I was not a Tom Cruise, Ralph Macchio, Matt Dillon fan-I was the one with the C. Thomas Howell posters in my room!

I'll list mine now, since it's Valentine's Day here (the Chinese version) and I won't have time later:
1. "Learning the Ropes" (TV) - This was one of those fantastically bad syndicated shows featuring the late, great Lyle Alzado as a guy who was a schoolteacher by day and a wrestler by night. It featured stars of the NWA and such storylines as "Gorgeous" Jimmy Garvin deciding to go back and get his veterinary degree, plus the comedy of watching Lyle try to hide his secret life from the principal. It's even funnier now that it's actually happened.
2. "Down Periscope" (Movie) - The cast in this is pretty good actually (Kelsey Grammar, Rip Torn, Ernest Borgnine, William H. Macy, Rob Schneider), but the movie was panned, and it's a pretty cliche "underdogs overcome the odds and have comical hijinx along the way:. But it's one of those movies that I have to watch every time it's on TV.
3. "Beach Fever" (Movie) - Not only does the movie revolve around a Japanese kid whose father has sent him to America to discover the perfect pickup line, but it stars...wait for it...KATO KAELIN. It's also the quintessential '80s teen beach flick.
4. "Greatest Hits of the '80s Sung by 8-Year Olds" - This takes some explaining. My girlfriend and I were out at a local restaurant over the weekend when I heard music that sounded an awful lot like Joan Jett's "I Love Rock and Roll", except that the voice singing it sounded like a little kid. The album was all like that. The highlight was hearing an entire classful of 4th graders singing "Highway to Hell". Even though I knew better, I was still singing along.
5. "Cobra" (TV) - One of those dramas where a secret group was working to help people out of tough jams (it was like the A-Team). This one featured Michael Dudikoff and James Tolkian (the principal from "Back to the Future"). Not exactly memorable, but it was interesting.

The Outsiders was filmed in Tulsa, my hometown. Cool to watch and pick out places you know in the movie.
