They have tried to sign everyone and his dog and got absolutly squat so why not go for a numpty like "our Phil" could you imagine the conversation at blues HQ
"Well Baros is for sale should we go for him?"
"aye I know but I just heard from my pal sur Alex, yer ken, now he told me to keep it secret, it seems that his best international central midfielder is for sale"
" OK buy him now" (next day) "he doesnt look like Roy Keane"

*LOL* How tall does Peter Crouch have to be to get noticed... and I suppose it's easier to quickly forget Sissoko

I suppose the ultimate insult is that Phil Neville, despite being a complete tosspot, will actually improve the team!! :) whos next Saha?

Keeping Stevie G and signing Zenden, Sissoko, Crouch or overpaying for Neville you make the choice ....

I was just giving you guys some crap for picking on us. Eh, we're gonna suck this year so I guess it doesn't matter anyway. Oh, and if I were you, I wouldn't be jumping on that Peter Crouch bandwagon too quickly. :D

C'mon, now. Marcus works harder than 90% of your team combined. He might not be able to finish, but effort counts for something, right??
Ok, ok, maybe not.

Nice try :D
I don't think any of us are absolutely certain that Crouch will be the new John Toshack. But we at least have some choices up front.
James Beattie has really been lighting it up for you lot hasn't he?

Eh, don't get me started on Beattie. I'm *hoping* he gets his frickin act in gear this season, but something tells me he's still going to behave like an ass. Of course, his idiocy with that headbutt against Chelsea was the turning point for me. But yeah, Beattie isn't the answer to our problems.

So you're saying that Beattie will take Stubbs' place at the top of the Most Likely To Get Sent Off In A Merseyside Derby list, then? :D :D
