[I started this thread on the Youth Forum but was told it was better placed here]
I am holding my first organizational meeting with the parents and players of a new Girls U11 Club team. I am an experienced coach but relatively new to this environment.
I will share my philosophy (don't sacrifice development for wins/losses) Rules ( few) etc.
Any advice? Anything you wish you had said at your first meeting?
Any help would be appreciated

Look at my post on the youth soccer where you first put it. it may help.

I think Ray covers everything that I would cover.
The one thing I would highlight is the importance of making clear your expectations for the players directly to the players. But at the age you mentioned, I think it is important to tell the parents the expectations you have for players, as well as the expectations you have for them as parents and spectators.
If your club doesn't have a spectator policy, then make one yourself. Have the parents read it and sign it.
You'll always run into a few knucklehead parents, but you can save yourself some trouble by clearly stating that parent coaching from the sidelines is prohibited or abusive language toward the referee will not be tolerated, etc.

Look at the other thread...getting angry at my U11's.
You could also in your meeting handout schedules (practices/games), maps/driving instructions to away games, a treat sign up list (ask a parent to take that over from you). Discuss practice times, starting/playing times, rules/expectations, good sportsmanship (including from the parents...), etc.
Best of luck...!
